As Team Lead, he oversees field operations with a focus on quality, precision, and craftsmanship—ensuring each project reflects the team’s high standards and deep industry knowledge. His favorite part of construction is finish work, where his keen eye for detail truly shines. Sam takes pride in the artistry of custom home building, always striving to elevate each project beyond standard, builder-grade construction. He enjoys reading blueprints and applying his unique perspective to enhance the design and functionality of every build. Originally from Eastern Oregon, Sam now calls Roseburg his home.
Phillip Taylor is one of L&M Custom Builders’ Carpenter Leads, bringing strong craftsmanship and a passion for quality to every project. Having grown up in Eastern Oregon and spent time on the Oregon Coast before venturing inland, he brings a deep appreciation for the Pacific Northwest’s landscapes and the communities that call it home.
With five years of experience in the trades, Phil has developed a true love for carpentry and the satisfaction that comes with creating something lasting and well-built. Outside of work, he enjoys spending weekends at swap meets with his fiancée, searching for hidden treasures and unique finds.
Braden joined L&M Custom Builders with a passion for hands-on work and a love for being outdoors. As an Apprentice, he’s developed a strong interest in framing and concrete, approaching each task with focus and a genuine sense of joy for the trade. Whether it’s sunshine or rain, Braden thrives on the job site, bringing energy and reliability to every build.
While he takes his work seriously, Braden’s enthusiasm is contagious—he approaches each day with the excitement of someone who truly loves what he does. He often shares how much he values his coworkers and considers the team like family. A proud Oregon native and devoted father to a young daughter, Braden embodies the dedication, teamwork, and heart that define L&M Custom Builders.
Caden joined L&M Custom Builders after relocating from California to Oregon, bringing a fresh perspective and strong enthusiasm for the craft. He enjoys all aspects of the building process, with a particular focus on finish and tile work, where his attention to detail truly shines.
Since moving to the Pacific Northwest, Caden has embraced his new home and the beauty it offers. In his free time, he enjoys exploring Douglas County’s historic sites and outdoor spaces, always finding inspiration in the craftsmanship and character of the region. L&M is proud to have him as part of the team.
Christian joined L&M Custom Builders after moving from Southern California and beginning a new chapter in the construction industry. Coming from a background in caregiving, he has embraced the challenges of the trade with open arms and a determination to learn.
As the first laborer to arrive at the shop each morning, Christian consistently demonstrates commitment and enthusiasm. He’s quickly learning the lifelong skills and intricate details that come with custom home building, approaching each day as an opportunity to grow.

Dylan joined L&M Custom Builders in July 2025, bringing a positive attitude and a passion for learning to the team. Though new to the trade, he has already shown impressive growth, mastering new skills daily and taking pride in contributing to each phase of construction.
He enjoys running equipment—especially the excavator—and values the opportunity to learn every detail of the building process, from forming to finish work. Dylan’s excellent work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to improve have made him a standout team member with clear potential to grow into a future Shop Superintendent.

She is highly motivated to learn new aspects of the construction industry and continues to expand her knowledge with enthusiasm. Outside of work, Felicia enjoys spending time outdoors, especially camping with her husband and six children. She also volunteers as a competitive cheerleading coach, channeling her leadership and positive energy into the community.

A native of Oregon living in Winston, she values the strong community connections that L&M continues to build.
Outside of work, Susan enjoys spending time with her husband—her best friend—exploring the outdoors together.
